Mounting Foam

Mounting foam is an alternative to insulation shells and is applicable e.g. between pipe and external sleeve.

Mounting foam was developed for pre-insulated district heating pipe joints.

Mounting foam is generated from isocyanate and polyol that are mixed together and shaken. The mixing starts a chemical process (foaming). The foaming is made on site at the pipe joints and after welding.

The bottles with isocyanate and polyol are available in pairs, in 20 different sizes.
